Eligibility criteria vary depending on the period of time your child receives dental care. Be sure to check whether you qualify for each child concerned before applying. This program is for <a href=\"https:\/\/centredentairefairmount.com\/en\/childs-first-dental-visit\/\">children&#8217;s first dental visit<\/a>.<\/p><p>For the dental care your child receives during the following periods:<\/p><ul><li>Period 1: from October 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023.<\/li><li>Period 2: from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-267d1c54 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"267d1c54\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Second period: Eligibility checklist<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-186f077 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"186f077\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>For each child you are applying for, you must meet all of the following criteria:<\/p><ul><li>Your child was born on July 2, 2011 or later (they are under 12 years old on July 1, 2023).<\/li><li>Your child receives dental care in Canada between July 1, 2023 and June 30, 2024.<\/li><li>Your child is not covered by private dental insurance.<\/li><li>Your child&#8217;s dental care is not fully funded by another government program.<\/li><li>You are the only parent or guardian to receive the CCB for your child on July 1, 2023 or you have shared custody and receive half of the CCB on that date.<\/li><li>You have declared your income for the year 2022.<\/li><li>Your spouse or common-law partner has also submitted their 2022 tax return, or you do not have a spouse or common-law partner as of July 1, 2023.<\/li><li>Your adjusted net family income was less than $90,000 in 2022.<\/li><li>No one requested additional payment for your child&#8217;s dental care during the first benefit period.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-208bedb elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"208bedb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">How much can you receive?<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7842abc elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7842abc\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The CRA calculates the amount of your benefit based on your adjusted net family income.
